Our startup journey began in 2022 with the founding of Female Lights GmbH. At that time, our focus was still on gender equality. Why was that? We founded the company primarily out of intrinsic motivation: Both founders had themselves experienced what it was like to be disadvantaged because of their gender. Through our intensive engagement with the topic, we realised more and more that there is a lot of ignorance. Companies are usually not aware that discrimination exists and in which areas. Decisions are made on instinct, which do not get to the root of the problem.
That was the birth of the Female Lights Tool. A lot has changed since then - we have realised that our customers want more. And so do we.
Our vision from the very beginning was to create an equal and inclusive working environment. But to achieve this vision, it's not enough to just look at gender: What about different age groups, ethnic origins & nationalities, religions & worldviews, sexual orientations or social origins?
Our Diverlyze tool was created with this in mind: a SaaS solution for data-based measurement and sustainable improvement of diversity, equality and inclusion in companies.
